You are living in the same house, sharing many common areas and equipment. It's crucial that everyone feels at home. The atmosphere should feel like a family, so it's essential to have some guidelines so everyone knows how to behave to ensure harmony. The aim is to avoid conflicts and ensure everyone enjoys their stay.
🌹 Rules
House Meetings: It's important to meet once a week or every other week to discuss how life is going in the house—what's working well, what isn't, and what changes may be needed. These meetings are an open forum to discuss whatever you like.
Responsible Person: Each house has a designated responsible person. All comments, requests, and complaints should be directed to this person. No one should directly confront another resident about issues or mistakes; instead, speak to the responsible person. A reprimand from the responsible person should not be viewed as criticism.
Noise Levels:
It's crucial not to disturb others. You can play music, talk, etc., but keep the noise level low enough so it doesn't disturb the housemates. This applies 24/7. If you work nights, you must also not be disturbed by others during the day when you need to sleep.
Smoking: Not allowed indoors.
Pets: Not allowed.
Damages: If a guest causes damage, they are responsible for all associated costs.
Personal Belongings: Do not touch or interfere with someone else's belongings.
Cleaning: Make sure you have cleaned and done the dishes before leaving the house.
Clothing: When outside your room, dress appropriately. Nudity or semi-nudity is not allowed.
Lights: Make sure not to leave lights on unnecessarily.
Guests: Not allowed. This residence is to be regarded as a communal home for all tenants living within it. Therefore, inviting external guests into this shared sanctuary is not permissible.
Dishwashing: Clean your dishes immediately after use.
Laundry: Use only between 9 AM and 9 PM. The washing machine must be cleaned by the individual who used it after each use.
Cooking: Clean up spills immediately. Open windows when cooking, if needed.
Waste Management: Comply with local waste-sorting requirements.
Electric Tools: Unplug after use.
Toilets: Only toilet paper should be flushed. If there is a blockage in the toilet system due to the guests flushing anything other than toilet paper, the cost of the remedy must be paid by the guests.
Moving Out: The room should be left in the same condition it was found. Failure to do so may result in a cleaning fee.
💸 Fines
Failure to comply will result in a 500kr fine, to be used by housemates for communal activities or purchases.
⛔ Immediate Termination
Under the following conditions, a guest may be immediately evicted with no refund:
Extortion, violence, threats, or drug use
Repeated rule-breaking
Legal violations
Continued disturbance after warnings
Actions that harm the reputation of the house or its residents
